However, a great rule of thumb is to decide what's most important to you. Prioritize and save a little in one spot, so you can spend a little more in another. Remember, photography is one of the ONLY things you'll have left from your wedding day. Same with children portraiture. When they're grown and gone, portraits and memories will be what's left. In other words, if photography seems to be more costly than you expected, rest assured, the splurge is worth it in the end.
