This project is very dear to my heart and largely inspired by my daughter’s birth last July at 25 weeks. Weighing only 1lb 7oz Sadie Mae’s first weeks and months were some of great uncertainty. She was surely an angel sent that we might see God’s goodness and mercy, not only through the miracle of her life but through the giving hearts of so many. Churches, friends, and family rallied during one of the most difficult times of our lives, and brought to us an im- measurable amount of hope and peace through words of encourage- ment, prayers, and gifts. Overwhelmed by the giving hearts of so many I knew that when things settled for our family I would do some- thing with my talents in an attempt to give back a small portion of what had been given to us. This project is for that very mission.
“We have before us the glorious opportunity to inject a new dimension of love into the veins of our civilization.” – Martin Luther King Jr
If you are breathing you are able to do just this, love. For it is when we give and do for others that we truly live.
“Life’s most urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” – Martin Luther King Jr
Thank you for supporting this event. I pray that your heart will be touched by the faces of these sweet angels, but most of all, that you will truly understand the miracle of life.
