Wedding Album, A Storybook

Our wedding albums are so yummy, if paper can be yummy. Here's one from our first wedding of the remember, the one that got all the bloggy love. This album did NOT win first place at the convention this year....however I'm seriously considering entering it for this next year. It's so beautiful! I share with you this, to say that if you're thinking of hiring a photographer. Please consider someone who does more than just hand you a disk. You'll be thankful in the end. The extra money is worth the heirloom and the moments you'll remember every time you flip the pages or glance at it on your coffee table.

Amber & Clemente | Destination Wedding Mexico

Well, it's really not a destination to them, it's hometown! It was so exciting to travel to Mexico with great friends for the celebration of marriage between my bestie from high school and her sweet lovie. Here's some quick favs from our street shoot inbetween the ceremony and reception. One of the things I love most about latin culture....time is not a factor. Ahhhhhh. American culture needs to take a lesson....can't believe it's taken me so long to blog something of these! American males could also take a lesson in displaying affection....hahaha. Serious.Nothing like a true Mexican staircase, blue tile and orange walls, just as one might imagine.

This shot looks quaint, like an exclusive villa....

But here's what was going on right below them, we were actually in the city center of sorts.

The bride and groom total troopers, acting like the crowds weren't there at all, great models! This...probably my favorite image of my entire wedding photography life. Maybe it's the memories in combination with the photo? So funny!BEST of life and love to my Bestie and her hubs!

Can I do my wedding over....

Really want to do my wedding over, so I can have a sign-in book like this! LONG gone are the days of a book with a bunch of peoples names...kinda always reminded me of a funeral book anyways. Mine is tucked deep in a closet, I've maybe looked at it once. Here's the guest book, sign-in book, of the 21st century. Love, love, love. Fun pics and fun questions for your guests, it's always fun to see what's written. These two love birds are getting married in the fall at my favorite place, Chattooga Belle Farm. Can NOT wait!

Just realized I'm blogging something "wedding" on "Wednesday" THAT would make this a "Wedding Wednesay" post that is long OVERDUE. Kinda think I want to change that up though, as if I've been very faithful with it.... I've seen lots of photogs doing that same thing...I hate being part of the crowd.

Wedding Wednesday | Sydney & Matthew

A lovely bride and groom with a lovely family. I like when locals book me. It's fun having a connection to the family by way of the community. Also, Sydney is the sister of a Groom I photographed a couple years ago and it's always nice to be referred that way, kinda confirms you've done a good job. I know there has perhaps been some blog stalking in anticipation for this post...I was confronted by a confessed blog stalker at the reception, so funny! So without further delay. Here's a few snipits, it's always so hard to narrow down for a blog post.... As normal, the dancing images could go on forever! Such a fun dance party. Congrats Sydney and Matt. Hope you guys had a great honeymoon!
